Brandy Norwood

Brandy Norwood is an R&B singer from the ‘90s and is, undeniably, one of the most successful artists during the decade — credits to her family who loves music. While she had a strong competition, Brandy received plenty of accolades for her work—including Grammy nominations. She started her career as a back-up vocalist, before eventually signing with Atlantic Records in 1993. After the success of her self-titled debut album, which managed to sell six million copies worldwide, Norwood ventured into acting.

You might remember her from the popular sitcom Moesha, where Norwood played the title character. The show lasted six seasons and really pushed her toward the top.
