Meredith Brooks

Meredith Brooks is one of the biggest artists to come out of the ‘90s. She was born in Corvallis, Oregon, and is now 62 years old. The singer-songwriter won listeners over with her guitar-driven rock music, which was particularly catered towards women. From the beginning, Brooks was acknowledged for her talent and was even nominated for a Grammy Award back in 1997. She started her career in 1976, as a member of the band Sapphire.

They split up in 1982, which was then followed by Brooks moving to Los Angeles and establishing herself as a solo act.
Her album, Blurring the Edges, peaked at 22 on the Billboard 200, and since then, she has enjoyed relative success. She was even able to produce a single for Jennifer Love Hewitt. Brooks’ most recent credit was as co-writer for Bebe Rexha’s song I’m a Mess, which became a worldwide hit in 2018.
