Mandy Moore

The degree of her popularity may not have been as big as others, but Mandy Moore managed to firmly establish herself as a singer and actress. She started out like most teens her age, following the teenybopper mold. Soon after, she released her widely-successful debut single Candy. It catapulted her into fame and also peaked at 44 on the Billboard Hot 100. Her debut studio album, So Real was released in 1999 and earned her a platinum certification.

Her follow-up single, I Wanna Be With You, peaked at 24 on the charts and became one of her most popular tracks. Moore would also later venture into acting and would manage to land the lead role in the critically acclaimed film, A Walk to Remember. Since 2016, Moore has played Rebecca Pearson in the NBC family series This Is Us. Because of her performance, she was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress, as well as for a Primetime Emmy for Best Actress in a Drama Series. She won two Screen Actors Guild Best Performance Awards.
