Gloria Estefan

Gloria Estefan enjoyed a vibrant career during the late ’70s and ’80s. She started as the lead singer of the group Miami Sound Machine, which received credit for the international hit song, Conga. Conga also became Estefan’s signature song, but since then, she has released other hits such as Rhythm Is Gonna Get You, Coming Out of the Dark, and Party Time. As of this date, the 63-year-old artist has sold over 130 million records worldwide and has managed to acquire seven Grammy Awards.

Throughout the years, Estefan has also ventured into writing children’s books, including Noelle’s Treasure Tale. And, in fact, she became a two-times New York Times best-selling author of children’s books. She also collaborated with her husband in writing a cookbook, which contained 60 traditional Cuban recipes. In May 2020, the renowned singer wrote the musical piece We Needed Time, proving that her talent is unfading.
