Mr. T
Mr. T, or Lawrence Tureaud in real life, came to the limelight as a wrestler but achieved international success as an actor. He gets credit for his performance in the ’80s TV show The A-Team. He also appeared in Rocky III, alongside Sylvester Stallone. Mr. T’s catchphrase, “I pity the fool!” in the film, eventually turned into his trademark. Did you know he used to work as a bodyguard for high-profile personalities like Michael Jackson, Muhammad Ali, Joe Frazier, and Diana Ross?
Following his appearance in Rocky III, he gained even more prominence and firmly established himself as an actor. His most recent TV appearance, however, was on season 24 of Dancing with the Stars, where he was applauded for skillfully dancing the waltz to Amazing Grace. Now that Mr. T is 68-years old, he’s now seemingly retired. It looks like the professional wrestler and a veteran prefers to spend most of his time with his family.
