Michael J Fox

We’re sure that fans from Generation X recognize this guy. Canadian-American actor Michael J. Fox began his career in film and TV back in the ’70s. He became a household name after portraying Alex P. Keaton in the sitcom Family Ties. However, he is most loved for his starring role in the Back to the Future trilogy. In the 2000s, he continued to appear in films, including in Interstate 60 and Back in Time. He also portrayed a lawyer in two TV shows: The Good Wife and Designated Survivor.

Unfortunately, in late 2020, Fox announced that he would have to retire from acting due to his current health issues. The 59-year-old actor has been married to his Family Ties co-star Tracy Pollan since 1988. He was also elected to the Canadian Walk of Fame in 2000. Due to deteriorating health, Fox decided to step away from the spotlight in 2020 and put his money in some worthy investments.
