Anthony Michael Hall
Anthony Michael Hall etched his name in the entertainment industry in the ’80s when he starred in numerous teen-oriented films, including The Breakfast Club and Weird Science. To escape being typecast in the geek roles he often portrayed in film and TV, he began to make a career investment in more serious projects such as Out of Bounds, Edward Scissorhands, and Six Degrees of Separation. He also portrayed Microsoft founder Bill Gates in Pirates of Silicon Valley.
Outside acting, he wanted to be of service to the public. He used his fame for the good and established The Anthony Michael Hall Literacy Club, which aims to assist at-risk youth through a literacy program. He has also ventured and explored the other side of the industry and dived into the world of music. He then formed the band Hall of Mirrors. The 52-year-old actor often makes guest appearances on television shows and has an upcoming film entitled Halloween Kills.
