Andrew McCarthy

American actor Andrew McCarthy is another member of the renowned group of teen actors in the ’80s, the Brat Pack. He starred in Less Than Zero, Pretty in Pink, and St. Elmo’s Fire, alongside Emilio Estevez and Molly Ringwald. The 57-year-old also carved out a successful career in directing, all the more increasing his credit score. He is acclaimed for his work in the Emmy Award-winning comedy-drama television series Orange Is the New Black.

McCarthy is a skilled writer as well but has said that travel writing is the kind of writing that he likes above all. He is currently an editor for National Geographic Traveler magazine. While McCarthy still occasionally does acting and has recently appeared on 13 Reasons Why and Good Girls, the actor is more than happy and contented with his personal life. McCarthy has been married to the love of his life, Dolores Rice, since 2011, and they have three adorable kids together.
