Liz Phair

Even from a young age, the talented Liz Phair always dreamt of becoming a musical artist. Surely, many of us have had similar hopes but in her case, she made the dream happen. Though she was passionate, the road was not at all easy for her. She went to pop-rock and won the mainstream audience. To her credit, though, Phair never strayed from her plans. Eventually, she was able to release her own audio cassettes under the name Girly-Sound.

She released her debut studio album Exile in Guyville back in 1993. Success was immediate for the singer and the album is even included in the list of the top 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. Liz sold over three million records worldwide and has been working today with other collaborators for a new song. Since then, she has also worked on scoring TV shows and even published fiction books under a random house.
