Gwen Stefani
Gwen Stefani was the vocalist and co-founder of the band No Doubt. She was also the group’s primary songwriter. The band’s breakthrough studio album Tragic Kingdom, released in 1995, included their chart-topping singles Just a Girl, Spiderwebs, and Don’t Speak. They became one of the biggest acts of the 90s and early 2000s, before going on a break. It was during this time that Stefani ventured into being a solo artist.
Unlike No Doubt’s pop-rock sound, Stefani’s 2014 release was a mix of pop and hip-hop tracks. Love. Angel. Music. Baby. reached great success commercially and sold over 30 million copies worldwide. Billboard magazine named Stefani as the most successful artist and the most successful Hot 100 artist in the decade from 2000 to 2009. As a solo artist, she won three Grammy Awards and received more accolades throughout her career. The singer also managed to boost her credit report after establishing her own fashion and perfume line inspired by the album.
