Lady Gaga is currently one of the most influential artists in music as whole. Her artistry is undeniable and just about any musician would be lucky to collaborate with her. In 2020, she released her album Chromatica, and while many were delighted by the people she chose to work with on some of the tracks, there was one group that stood out from the rest. The song Sour Candy features one of K-pop’s biggest girl groups, BlackPink. Turns out, this is no mere marketing strategy.

The singer confessed that even before working with the group, she had already been a fan of their music. As some of you might know, BlackPink, which is comprised of Lisa, Jisoo, Rosé, and Jennie, have been releasing multiple chart-toppers since their debut. Sour Candy ended up becoming a hit, with full credit to the women behind it.
