RON HOWARD
The Academy Award-winning filmmaker, Ron Howard, has been constantly producing some of the finest films since the ‘80s and ‘90s. The comedy films Night Shift and Splash were among Howard’s best films in the ‘80s, which was when he collaborated with his long-time partner in production, Brian Grazer. The two spent their investment money in creating Imagine Entertainment back in 1986 so they can produce films independently.
Howard has quite a career as a filmmaker, but he also acted, too. You would remember him in The Andy Griffith Show, Happy Days, and Arrested Development. However, he is still more notable for his filmmaking career. His work in Apollo 13 earned him a nomination as best director, but he was able to bring home an award for his work on A Beautiful Mind. The filmmaker remains active, but recently, he had to take a break due to the current global situation.
