Iggy Azalea

Australian model, singer, songwriter, and rapper Iggy Azalea moved to America from her home country to pursue a career in music. Born Amethyst Amelia Kelly, she earned recognition after the release of her music video for Two Times on YouTube, which gained rapid popularity. As a result, Azalea signed with the American rapper T.I.’s label, Grand Hustle and released her debut mixtape Ignorant Art in 2011.

In 2014, she released her debut studio album titled The New Classic, which peaked among the top five on several charts globally. Eventually, the album reached the number one spot of the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, which made Azalea the first non-American female rapper to reach the top of the chart. As she attained a tremendous degree of success, the Australian rapper received several awards such as the People’s Choice Award, two American Music Awards, four Teen Choice Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, four Grammy Award nominations, and three Billboard Music Awards.
