Jay-Z

Cited as one of the greatest rappers of all time, Shawn Corey Carter, or Jay-Z, started his musical career following the founding of his record label, Roc-A-Fella Records, in 1995. It was one of his biggest business investments. The American record executive subsequently released his debut studio album Reasonable Doubt the following year, which gained huge success that solidified his standing in the music industry. From then on up to 2018, Jay-Z released twelve albums, including The Blueprint, The Black Album, American Gangster, and 4:44.

Apart from his music career, the rapper also achieved huge success as an entrepreneur after he founded the clothing brand Rocawear in 1999. Years later, he launched the luxury sports bar chain 40/40 Club. Both businesses have grown into multi-million corporations. Another venture he has is the entertainment start-up company Roc Nation in 2008 and the media streaming service Tidal, after he acquired the tech company Aspiro in 2015.
