Lil Nas X

Lil Nas X fans were quite excited to see the singer in Saturday Night Live together with Anya Taylor-Joy who will be hosting. This is not surprising as the singer-rapper has become a sensation since his song Old Town Road went viral in 2019. His fame was further highlighted with his music video for MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name). It is clear that the singer has been using his music as a way to express himself and how he hopes that it will open more doors for those in the LGBTQIA+ community.

Lil Nas X is just his stage name. His real name is Montero Lamar Hill, but he opted to use Lil Nas X since he has been using it on the internet for ages. He just added Lil because he believed that rappers often added it to their names. The X came later on. To his credit, his internet now stage name has helped become an overnight sensation especially after his song MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name) came out.
