Blake Lively

American actress Blake Ellender Lively made her acting debut at age 10 in her father’s directorial film, Sandman, in 1998. His father, Ernie Lively, was an actor, acting coach, and director. In her childhood, she would accompany her parents to the acting classes they taught, as her parents didn’t want to leave her with a babysitter. As she began to work in the industry, Lively credits her parents in those moments as it helped her learn the drills and gain confidence along the way.

While in Burbank High School, her elder brother asked his talent agent to send her to a few auditions in the summer months. Eventually, Lively landed a role in the 2005 comedy-drama The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, which she filmed in between her junior and senior years in high school. Although she initially wanted to attend Stanford University, she subsequently pursued her acting career and achieved huge success over the years.
