Calvin Harris
Adam Richard Wiles, better known as Calvin Harris, is a Scottish record producer, DJ, songwriter, and singer who became the first solo artist in the UK to reach more than one billion streams on Spotify. He gained international recognition after releasing his third album18 Months in 2012, which included various vocalists in its singles. In total, the DJ has released five studio albums, and apart from his music recordings, he also ventured into other investments, like his record label Fly Eye Records that he founded in 2010.
As his career flourished, Harris received multiple accolades and awards, including the British Producer of the Year, Ivor Novello Award, and named Top Dance/Electronic Artist in 2015 at the Billboard Music Awards, among many others. Some of his successful hits in collaboration with other artists include One Kiss with Dua Lipa, Bounce with Kelis, and Blame with vocalist John Newman. Harris is also a philanthropist, performing in charity concerts, with proceeds given to several institutions like Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles.
