Your Favorite Actors Impersonating Others — The Best and The Funniest of Them All

Have you ever heard of impersonation and inception? There is no such word yet, but that is when an actor impersonates another person who is making an impression of someone else. Moreover, it is getting quite common in Hollywood that the term might exist. While many of us would think that actors are pretty severe human beings, they are not. Most of them, just like us, enjoy a good laugh now and then. When you are in the business of acting, then you use acting to generate slapping laughter too. Impersonating another actor or actress is one way to get that. Of course, no one could perfectly imitate someone else, but the beauty lies there.

When imitating someone else, a combination of qualities of the person being replicated and the person’s characteristics make the impression. That awkward situation is what makes it all funny. Also, inappropriate images are not bad—you will see that later in the list. Impersonating someone else is also one way of showing respect to a certain degree. They say that imitation is the best form of flattery, after all.

Tom Hiddleston | Chris Evans & Chris Hemsworth

So Tom Hiddleston is badass. He has received several accolades, including a Laurence Olivier Award and a Golden Globe. His character portrayal of Loki in the MCU is the best. More importantly, it probably reflects the acting education he received from the Royal Academy of Art. One skill he has also mastered is impersonation.

Hiddleston has this bias towards impersonating actors whose name is Chris, from Evans to Hemsworth. However, we can say that he does an excellent job of imitating Evans. The British actor appears to have perfected the impersonation down to Captain America’s voice inflection and facial expressions. Also, when a fan asked him to do an Evans, he was only happy to oblige and made the crowd laugh. He can also do a Thor imitation snappily. On the flip side, when Hemsworth attempted to imitate Loki, Hiddleston praised and gave him credit.

Simon Helberg | Robin Williams & Nicolas Cage

Simon Helberg’s character in The Big Bang Theory might be always be getting the shorter end of the stick, but we can see that he is a great comedian. In fact, in an interview, he revealed that he had been a comedy enthusiast since he was young, and one of his celebrity idols is none other than the great Robin Williams. The late actor is, of course, known for his improvisational skills, something that other actors have admired about him.

So when Conan O’Brien asked Helberg who he liked growing up, he quickly answered Robin Williams. Then, he imitated the late actor’s “serious side” down to the deep voice. At one point, he impersonated Williams as the latter did an impersonation of Mahatma Gandhi. Fans described it as impersonation inception to some degree. In another Conan episode, he also did a Cage, leaving O’Brien impressed as he recited the alphabet.

Patrick Stewart | Ian McKellen

There is no doubt that Patrick Stewart ranks among the best British actors out there. His work speaks for itself, as he has lent his skills on various platforms like TV, video games, and movies. With a career that spans for decades and brilliant films to his name, it can be argued that Stewart made heavy investments in his craft. His rewards? Several nominations for all the prestigious awards out there and the fulfillment of making fans happy.

So when a Buzzfeed host asked Professor X to do an impersonation of Ian McKellen, who was a guest as well in the event, he could not refuse and did a lousy job at it. Yes, there was some voice resemblance, and it is hard to impress if the other person is just beside you, trying to control his laughter—but hey, who says that impersonation has to be perfect? The audience was happy, and that was what mattered.

Andy Samberg | Zooey Deschanel & Jim Carrey

We know him as the all-too funny Jake Peralta in Brooklyn Nine-Nine and as Andy Samberg in Hollywood. He is both a musician and an actor, among others. As a renowned actor, he has been in several films, including Celeste and Jesse Forever, Palm Springs, and That’s My Boy. By the looks of it, with all these projects, he could afford the mortgage of many homes.

Besides acting, he is also an excellent impersonator—something expected when you were once part of Saturday Night Live. If an actor is not good in impressions, they are out of the show, definitely. In 2014, Samberg hosted Saturday Night Live’s Season 39 finale episode, and this was his first time hosting, but that did not even show. He went on to impersonate a long list of actors and actresses, 23 impressions in total. Zooey Deschanel and Jim Carrey were just a couple of them. The way he said “I don’t understand” in imitation of Carrey was just on point.

Jim Carrey | Clint Eastwood

The comedy sketch series In Living Color paved the way for Jim Carrey to be recognized on a national level. From then on, the actor starred in several hit movies like Liar Liar, Dumb and Dumber, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas. His expertise is mainly in doing comedy, but from time to time, we see him in dramatic films like The Truman Show and Doing Time on Maple Drive.

What might surprise everyone is that during the very early years in his career, in 1988, Carrey had the chance to work with Clint Eastwood on the fourth Dirty Harry movie. Since then, the comedy actor somehow got a license to impersonate the more serious Eastwood. In one of his impressions, Carrey did not even have to say a word but only mimicked how Eastwood’s lips moved as well as his eye movements, and the crowd went crazy. The degree of resemblance is just uncanny.

Matt Damon | Matthew McConaughey

When Matt Damon played the role of Rudy in the heart-wrenching insurance-claim movie The Rainmaker, the conclusion was inevitable—Damon is a good actor. He had come a long way from when he appeared on high school theater productions, and his acting has vastly improved, too, compared to the movie Mystic Pizza. All these did not go unnoticed as the actor has also been ranked among Hollywood’s most bankable stars.
How else could he showcase his acting prowess? Well, by impersonating Matthew McConaughey, of course. When asked by Letterman to deliver an impression of the latter, Damon obliged. He mimicked how McConaughey spoke with a deep, authoritative voice. His impersonation did not end there, and he even managed to do a perfect McConaughey-inspired Texan accent. There was also liberal use of the word “shirtless,” which drove the audience and the host into laughter. It was cool, right?

Johnny Depp | Marlon Brando & Al Pacino

Ten Golden Globe nominations and one win seem like a strong endorsement for Johnny Depp’s deep acting powers. He has been active in Hollywood since 1984 and has appeared in many successful movies, including Pirates of the Caribbean, Sleepy Hollow, and Benny and Joon.  Due to the commercial success of his movies, Depp has been named one of the highest-paid actors in Hollywood. Sure, he has to work with lawyers right now for a case, but that should not really set him back so hard.

People are going to miss his impression as he will likely take a break from Hollywood. One of the most notable impressions was that of Al Pacino. He revealed on The Late Show that Pacino was a jokester and that he never really got his sense of humor, but he delivered the joke Al Pacino style, including the somewhat hoarse voice. He also did his best imitating Marlon Brando when talking about life with him.

Robin Williams | His Mother & Jack Nicholson

Mork and Mindy star Robin Williams is very much known for his comedic work, but she also has a slew of dramatic films, including the Awakenings, Moscow on the Hudson, and Patch Adams.  A quick look at his film credits shows that the actor worked hard during his lifetime in making a legacy. His efforts were duly recognized by award-giving bodies when he was nominated four times and winning one for the Academy Awards.

On The Graham Norton Show, Williams showcased his impression skills, first imitating his mom and how she would have reacted as he forgot to thank him during a ceremony. Later on, right after Elijah Wood mimicked Jack Nicholson, he also did his take on it—where he ended up doing an even better job than Wood. The Lord of the Rings actor was admittedly nervous because he knew the elderly actor could perform better.

Will Ferrell | Harrison Ford

Another graduate of Saturday Night Live, Will Ferrell has established himself as a comedian in the mid-1990s. After his time on SNL, he appeared in movies like Kicking & Screaming, Elf, and Land of the Lost. Recognizing the power of the internet, he also made investments in the website, Funny or Die. Now armed with several nominations for various awards, Ferrell has been named the best comedian for 2015 by the British GQ Men of the Year awards.

Others need to know that Ferrell can perform decent impressions and imitate Harrison Ford well. His mean impersonation of the veteran actor was delivered while being interviewed on The Graham Norton Show, a show that has always provided a safe space for these funny moments to happen. Ferrell channeled his inner Harrison Ford and nailed it down to the eye movement and the voice. The other celebrities on the show were very much amused.

Leonardo DiCaprio | Jack Nicholson

One thing many people had asked before 2016 was, “Why has Leonardo DiCaprio not won an Oscars yet?” That was a legitimate question because, with many of his films, including The Titanic receiving critical acclaim, it is a surprise why none of his nominations afforded him a win. However, that changed when he tackled a bear in The Revenant, eventually winning him the Best Actor Award. We think it was well deserved.

As a testament to his superb acting skills, Leonardo DiCaprio could mimic Jack Nicholson very well. A Japanese interviewer once asked him to do an impression, and he did a Nicholson. The audience probably expected him to say “Here’s Johnny” and wished they have a home security system in place—a reference to the movie Shining, Nicholson’s intense movie. However, what DiCaprio did was mimic Nicholson’s facial expression. Producers might now be thinking of casting him just in case there is a remake of Shining.

Benedict Cumberbatch | Alan Rickman & Sean Connery

With a degree in Classical Acting from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, Benedict Cumberbatch was probably confident he would do well when he enters the industry. To some extent, he was right as he later got roles in many classical plays, including the title role in Hamlet, which was played at the Barbican Theater. However, we all know what his most remarkable work to date is— as Doctor Strange, of course!

Can he also weave his magic when asked to do an impression on The Imitation Game? He was able to channel fellow magician Alan Rickman’s voice. It was so reminiscent of the Harry Potter character that it was so easy to visualize the late Rickman himself doing the act. This impersonation was then followed by a solid impression of Sean Connery, down to the cadence and wording. During that little time given to him, Cumberbatch was able to mimic several other stars with ease.

Bradley Cooper | Christopher Walken & Owen Wilson

Two-time Grammy Award winner Bradley Cooper has received his fair share of accolades and nominations, which only goes to show that the actor and filmmaker has proved he has a certain level of standards when making movies. He has also been listed among the most influential people in the world back in 2015, proving that his fame is not only confined to North America.

Perhaps because Christopher Walken has such a distinctive speech style that everyone can impersonate him with ease, but no one could channel him better than Cooper could. The actor was so carried away in the imitation that he ended up speaking more as Walken, with the voice pitch, than as himself. Cooper also did Owen Wilson with the distinctive voice pattern. He certainly could do an impression of other celebrities, and he is not too shy to show these skills during interviews.

Kevin Spacey | Christopher Walken & Jack Nicholson

Acting on the stage back in the 1950s served as Kevin Spacey’s stepping stone to becoming a film actor. When he took the role in Heartburn, he was already a veteran and did very well in that project. Subsequent appearances in American Beauty, Superman Returns, and L.A. Confidential further increased his fame and his net worth too. In addition, he has displayed good money management skills as, over the years, he has accumulated about $100 million.

On top of acting, Spacey is also an excellent mimicker. He could do an impression of Christopher Walken and was able to do it during an AFI Awards. The audience was so convinced that they laughed so hard. Right after doing Walken, he did an impression of Jack Nicholson next. While saying, “Isn’t this brave?” he also took out a pair of shades and put them on, completing a very accurate impersonation.

Kate Hudson | Matthew McConaughey

In a rather fortunate twist of fate, Kate Hudson rose to fame because of the movie Almost Famous, released in 2000. She has since then appeared in many other films, including Fool’s Gold, Mother’s Day, and Raising Helen. As expected, she earned the right to win a Golden Globe and a nomination for various other awards. Hudson, however, did not limit herself to acting but also tried out making investments by founding Fabletics. She also released a book, Pretty Happy: Healthy Ways to Love Your Body, in 2016.

Matthew McConaughey appears to be a favorite among fellow celebrities, and Hudson has a particular take on this famous actor, too. During the American Cinematheque honors held in Beverly Hills, the actress indulged the audience in a perfect impression of the actor, including that trademark slow drawl and the rambling. Given the resemblance, we can already guess how much Hudson must have practiced beforehand—but believe it or not, it was pure skills.

Bryan Cranston | Kevin Hart

After finishing his studies with a degree in police science, Bryan Cranston began his journey into the acting scene. Starting with a few stints in theater productions, he eventually found his way to more on-screen appearances and voice-acting work. A few acting gigs later, he finally gained widespread fame and recognition for his performance on the TV shows Malcolm in the Middle and Breaking Bad.

Since then, Cranston has also appeared in movies such as Drive, Trumbo, and The Upside. The latter-mentioned film has him starring alongside comedian Kevin Hart, famous for his roles in Ride Along, Central Intelligence, and the new Jumanji flicks. During an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Cranston was asked about his experience with Hart throughout production. On its own, the story he told was already entertaining. What made it even funnier, though, was when he brought out his best impression of the comedian.

Justin Long | Michael J. Fox & Keanu Reeves

With his mother and older brother being experienced actors, it’s safe to say where Justin Long got his inspiration from. During his college years, Long joined a sketch comedy group and also performed in a couple of stage plays.

Since then, he has landed a spot in the entertainment industry, with one of his most well-known acting credits being the 2001 horror flick Jeepers Creepers. Other projects he’s worked on through the years include Live Free or Die Hard, F is For Family, and Accepted. Like his colleagues, Long is no stranger to a couple of interviews. Along with sharing things about his career and life, these appearances also allow him to showcase a few neat tricks. It turns out, the Alvin and the Chipmunks actor can also pull off a great impression of Back to the Future’s Michael J. Fox and John Wick’s Keanu Reeves.

Rob Brydon | Al Pacino, Michael Caine, & Sylvester Stallone

To be inspired by something or someone can undoubtedly do wonders. Well, for Rob Brydon, this inspiration came in the form of comedians and actors like Peter Sellers, Barry Humphries, and Woody Allen. For his start in the entertainment industry, Brydon worked as a radio show’s disc jockey before he finally made his way into acting and stand-up comedy. With that said, a few of these projects he made investments in include Cruise of the Gods, The Best of Men, The Huntsman: Winter’s War, and The Trip.

Besides his on-screen appearances, Brydon is also quite fond of making impressions of various celebrities. In fact, it would probably take weeks to list down all the stars he has mimicked. In the meantime, though, the most recent one he did was of Scarface star Al Pacino, which he performed during an interview on The Graham Norton Show. Other actors on his list include Sylvester Stallone and Michael Caine.

Steve Coogan | Roger Moore, Sean Connery, Timothy Dalton, & Pierce Brosnan

During the earlier years of his career, Steve Coogan worked in the voice-acting scene, notably for the puppet show titled Spitting Image. In more recent years, though, it sure looks like Coogan’s popularity has skyrocketed to an even higher degree, thanks to his subsequent work in films. A few of these notable movies would be Around the World in 80 Days, The Night at the Museum movies, and The Trip.

Like the previously-mentioned celebrity Rob Brydon, which also happens to be Coogan’s good friend and The Trip co-star, the Alan Partridge actor-comedian has quite a knack for impressions. In fact, he has been doing impressions ever since he was a kid! Among the many big-name figures he has done could be seen during his interview in The Jonathan Ross Show, where he did the voice of some of our favorite James Bond actors.

Anthony Hopkins | Marlon Brando

Before he made his way into the spotlight, Anthony Hopkins already had a chance encounter with a star-studded figure. He came across the actor Richard Burton, who Hopkins has since credited as one of the people he looks up to. Well, today, Hopkins is considered one of the entertainment industry’s most recognized and talented actors, well-known for his role in films such as Thor, The Elephant Man, and most especially, The Silence of the Lambs.

One nice thing many celebrities do is praise the work of their colleagues. Such is the case for the Hannibal Lecter actor. During one interview, Hopkins talked about Marlon Brando, a Hollywood icon most known for his performance in The Godfather and Apocalypse Now. While explaining what made Brando such a great actor, Hopkins provided an impressive re-enactment of one of Brando’s parts in Apocalypse Now, with his spot-on impression being the cherry on top.

Jay Pharoah | Chris Rock, Eddie Murphy, & Kevin Hart

Starting at 15 years old, Jay Pharoah already did stand-up comedy in a couple of comedy clubs and theaters. Along the way, he also had the chance to appear in a few TV shows, with the most notable one being Saturday Night Live. Meanwhile, on the film side of things, Pharoah has worked on projects such as Ride Along, Bad Hair, and a voice-acting gig on the animated film The Mitchells vs. the Machines.

Despite all these acting credits, though, Pharoah is still most known for his knack for making impressions of many of Hollywood’s famous figures. He doesn’t only mimic their voices; he can even bring in a couple of actions and gestures to fully emulate the celebrity’s persona. With that said, a good glimpse at his craft would be the time he appeared on Steve Harvey’s show, where he was asked to do his best impressions of Chris Rock, Eddie Murphy, and Kevin Hart.

Sarah Paulson | Kathleen Turner, Holly Hunter, & Drew Barrymore

Like many of her colleagues, Sarah Paulson polished and improved her talents by taking acting classes. After finishing high school, her first stints were on stage plays and TV shows, including an appearance in an episode of Law & Order. She eventually made her way to films, with one of her first roles being in the 2000’s What Women Want. Nowadays, Paulson is often recognized for her work in Ocean’s 8, Bird Box, and Glass.

We all love to play games, and so do celebrities. During her exposure on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, she and Fallon played one of the show’s all-time famous games, Wheel of Impressions. This segment allowed audiences and fans to see the Glass actress’ best impression of celebrities in varying scenarios, like Kathleen Turner on Slip N’ Slides, Holly Hunter talking about a gas station, or Drew Barrymore appreciating her substitute teacher’s name.

Anna Kendrick | Kristen Stewart

One of Hollywood’s popular figures today, Anna Kendrick, began her acting career before she even knew a thing about student loans. She was in her teenage years when she debuted with a role in 1998’s Broadway musical High Society. Since then, Kendrick has garnered widespread recognition for her on-screen performance in films such as Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, the Pitch Perfect movies, and Into the Woods.

Along the way, she also worked on The Twilight Saga alongside actress Kristen Stewart. Well, besides appearing in the same film as Stewart, the Pitch Perfect actress can also do quite an impression of her. In fact, she showcased it to the world during one interview with Jimmy Fallon. When Fallon asked her about Pitch Perfect 3, he also requested the actress to do her impression of the Twilight star, and she did, from the voice impersonation to even her mannerisms.

Chris Pratt | Chris Hemsworth

Before making his way into the spotlight, Chris Pratt worked as a waiter to cover whatever personal loans he had. After a while, though, he landed his first acting gig with a role in the short film, Cursed Part 3. A few years later, Pratt got his first big break, thanks to his part in the TV show Parks and Recreation.

Nowadays, it goes without saying that the actor is most known for his performance as Star-Lord in the Marvel Cinematic Universe franchise, starting with 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy. Another movie he worked on was The Lego Movie, also released in 2014. In 2019, Pratt and his Lego Movie co-star Will Arnett played a game of First Impressions. While all their impressions were entertaining to see, the one that stole the show would undoubtedly be his take on his Marvel co-star, Chris Hemsworth.

Jamie Foxx | Mike Tyson, Robert Downey Jr., & Floyd Mayweather

At a young age, Jamie Foxx already had the makings of an entertainer. He started playing the piano when he was just five years old, and that talent undoubtedly came in handy for his work as the titular character in the 2004 biopic Ray. Since then, Foxx has worked on other notable projects such as Miami Vice, Django Unchained, Jarhead, and Baby Driver.

Besides his acting chops and musical talents, Foxx also takes credit for being quite an impressionist, a skill that can bring out a couple of laughs from the audience. Through the years, he improved in his craft and added more big-name figures to his forte. During one interview on Joe Rogan’s podcast, the Baby Driver actor shared stories involving various celebrities. Of course, while he was doing this, he also provided his best impression of every one of them. These celebrities include Mike Tyson, Robert Downey Jr., and Floyd Mayweather.

Chris Hemsworth | Chris Pratt

The Hollywood industry is filled with celebrity families. With that said, one of the more recent groups of stars that garnered a skyrocketing degree of fame would be the Hemsworths, including Chris Hemsworth. Beginning his career on TV, Hemsworth has since become universally known for his work on the Marvel Cinematic Universe, portraying the Norse God of Thunder, Thor. Along the way, he has also starred in movies such as The Cabin in the Woods, Rush, and Extraction.

Like the previously-mentioned Chris Pratt, the Thor actor had the chance to play a game of First Impressions, only this time it’s with his Thor: Ragnarok co-star Tessa Thompson. Although the two made great attempts in emulating a couple of celebrities and some animals, the highlight of the game would undoubtedly be Hemsworth’s take on the Star-Lord actor. It was barely a second or two, but that was more than enough for him to channel his inner Chris Pratt.

James Marsden | Matthew McConaughey

A career under the spotlight is a challenging yet rewarding investment, and the same can be said for James Marsden. He began his career with minor parts and guest roles in TV shows, two of which are Party of Five and Touched by an Angel. Not long after, though, his hard work finally paid off. Nowadays, Marsden is most known for his role as Cyclops in the X-Men films, and he has also starred in Hairspray, Enchanted, and Sonic the Hedgehog.

Compared to his earlier years under the spotlight, it’s quite clear that the actor is now at a different point in his career, landing roles on more prominent projects. This opportunity also has him going to plenty of interviews along the way, one of which was with the television show host Stephen Colbert. As the duo’s conversation went on, Marsden eventually had the chance to showcase his best Matthew McConaughey impression, and he even gave a few tips on how to get it done.

Ross Marquand | Hugo Weaving & Michael Caine

At a young age, Ross Marquand already found his way into acting, appearing in a local stage play when he was nine years old. Before finishing his studies with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Performance, Marquand worked in theater performances of The Cherry Orchard and To Kill a Mockingbird, among many others.

Although he has since become known for his work in The Walking Dead series, there’s still another skill that always leaves his fans, both old and new, amazed. On several occasions, he has shown time and time again his many celebrity impressions. A few of these impressive impersonations include those of Michael Caine, Antonio Banderas, and Christian Bale. This skill eventually came in handy when he landed a part in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: End Game as Red Skull, previously portrayed by Hugo Weaving in Captain America: The First Avenger. Well, it wouldn’t be too surprising if more than a few viewers thought it was Weaving at first.

Ian McKellen | Patrick Stewart

From Shakespearean stage plays to superhero flicks to even fantasy epics, Ian McKellen has it covered. With a career that has spanned around six decades already, McKellen began his career on the stage, with his professional debut being for A Man for All Seasons. Nowadays, though, it goes without saying that he has become universally known for his acting credit as Magneto in the X-Men films and, of course, as the wizard Gandalf in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit movies.

Among his many companions under the spotlight, McKellen’s greatest friend would undoubtedly be Patrick Stewart, who is also his on-screen rival Professor X in the X-Men films. Through the years, the duo has been seen attending numerous events together, including a BuzzFeed Events interview. Before their talk came to an end, the interviewer asked for them to make their best impressions of each other. It may have been brief, but it was definitely not short of wholesome.

Alec Baldwin | Tracy Morgan

Alec Baldwin is the oldest and one of the four actor brothers in the Baldwin family of Hollywood, who first gained prominence after he starred on the primetime show Knots Landing on the CBS network on its sixth and seventh seasons. During his early years in the entertainment industry, Baldwin played both supporting and lead roles in the movies Working Girls, Beetlejuice, Married to the Mob, and Glengarry Glen Ross, among many others.

It’s also widely known that Baldwin is good at impersonating other celebrities, and one specific actor that he mimicked was fellow actor and co-star on 30 Rock, Tracy Morgan. On the talk show Conan, Baldwin was asked about Morgan’s personality. Baldwin then started to share the time when he saw the fellow actor watching a classic performance of the Jackson 5 on a tape while swaying his head from one side to the other. Then Baldwin funnily impersonated Morgan’s way of talking and voice, and the talk show’s host and the audience burst in laughter—credits to Baldwin’s funny mimicking.

Tina Fey | Tracy Morgan

Well known for her work on the sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live on the NBC network from 1997 to 2006, Tina Fey is one of the executive producers of the comedy series 30 Rock from 2006 to 2013. Another series that Fey created is Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt from 2015 to 2020.

Just like Baldwin, who mimicked Tracy Morgan on a talk show, Fey also did hers on David Letterman’s show on the CBS network. Fey began to share a moment when Morgan asked her about the name of an actor, “Jack Human.” Fey then demonstrated that Morgan insisted the name was “Jack Human,” with a degree of a convincing voice of Morgan. The actress then said that people began to gather around and asked Morgan what he’s trying to say. Fey then impersonated Morgan again, saying, “Jack Human, the dude in Wolverine.” Afterward, she said in an asking tone, “You mean Hugh Jackman?” Then Letterman, along with the audience, burst out in laughter.

Christina Aguilera | Cher, Britney Spears, & Shakira

Christina Aguilera was ranked number 58 on Rolling Stone’s 100 Greatest Singers of All Time list in 2008. She was also included on the list of 100 most influential people in the world in 2013 by Time magazine’s annual list. With Aguilera’s estimated 100 million record sales, she was credited with numerous awards, including a Latin Grammy Award, five Grammy Awards, and a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame.

The American singer, television personality, and songwriter also had her take on celebrity impressions. On one episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Aguilera took turns with Jimmy Fallon, the host of the show, impersonating singers. The multi-awarded singer began singing on Cher’s voice, then imitated her then-chart-rival Britney Spears, and finished with Shakira. Fallon and the audience were entertained, and the 40-year-old hitmaker was given warm applause and cheers.

Jenna Dewan | Channing Tatum

Starting her career as a backup dancer, Jenna Dewan worked with artists such as Christina Aguilera, Missy Elliot, and Pink. She’s also known for her portrayal of the character Nora Clark in the film Step Up in 2006. Dewan also starred in the American Horror Story: Asylum on the FX channel. Other television shows that she appeared in included Witches of East End, Supergirl, and World of Dance. She is the former spouse of actor, dancer, and producer Channing Tatum.

Dewan first appeared in the music video Doesn’t Really Matter by Janet Jackson in 2000 and later in All for You and All for You Tour in 2001. She credits working with Jackson for the success of her career. Meanwhile, she imitated her former husband on the reality competition show Lip Sync Battle on the Paramount network. She danced on stage in front of a live audience and eventually let Tatum joined her.

Danny Pudi | Nicolas Cage

Danny Pudi is well known as Abed Nadir on the comedy series Community from 2009 to 2015, a show for which he was credited with Critic’s Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actor, as well as a TCA Award for Individual Achievement in Comedy nomination. He voiced the character of Huey on the reboot of Duck Tales in 2017. Aside from his acting career, Pudi appeared in various television advertisements, including Verizon, Snickers, Pokemon, T-Mobile, and Far Cry 4. In 2012, the actor appeared on the GSN channel’s The Pyramid with fellow Community cast member Yvette Nicole Brown.

Just like other actors mimicking other celebrities, Pudi also has his impression of Hollywood actor Nicolas Cage. In the Season 5 of the comedy series Community, the impersonation began when he suddenly went inside the classroom while the teacher had his class. He then said many things while turning several pages of his book and then threw the book in the air and started to act like Cage.

Bono | Bill Clinton

Best known as the primary lyricist and lead vocalist of the band U2, Bono formed the band in 1976 with schoolmates from the school he attended in Ireland. There, he also met his future wife, Alison Stewart. Later on, Bono established himself as the passionate frontman of U2 through his expressive vocal range, songwriting, and grandiose gestures. He was credited with 22 Grammy Awards as a member of U2 and inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Apart from his singing career, Bono is also a philanthropist and activist. Speaking of which, the singer was invited to the Clinton Global Initiative conference along with other prominent personalities in the social and environmental arena. While everyone was seated, there’s one seat that was clearly for someone else. Suddenly, Bono stood up and sat on the empty seat and started to say things in Bill Clinton’s voice, clearly to entertain the waiting audience, which he did.

Ariana Grande | Celine Dion

Ariana Grande started her career on Broadway musical at age 15 in 2008. She gained fame after she starred on the television series Victorious as Cat Valentine on the Nickelodeon channel from 2010 to 2013 and Sam & Cat from 2013 to 2014. In 2011, Grande signed with Republic Records after she was discovered by the label’s executives on Youtube when she was covering songs. In 2015, the singer’s Yours Truly album topped the US Billboard 200 chart. Its single, The Way, charted in the top ten of the US Billboard Hot 100. Throughout her career, Grande was credited with three American Music Awards and nine MTV Video Music Awards, among many others.

While on The Tonight Show, Grande impersonated Celine Dion’s voice, singing along with Jimmy Fallon. The show’s host and the audience were very amused by her performance.
