Ashlee Simpson & Pete Wentz

Singer Ashlee Simpson used to be married to Fall Out Boy guitarist Pete Wentz. They got married in May of 2008, just a short while after the announcement of their engagement. They had a son together named Bronx Mowgli, who they welcomed into the world in November of the same year.

They called it quits on their marriage in November of 2011 because of the differences they had with each other. After dealing with the lawyers, they both got shared custody of Bronx. They remain friends with him, and they both acknowledge their share in being parents to their son. In an interview with Pete, he said that their schedules may be tough at times but he, Ashlee and even Ashlee’s new husband all work together really well to co-parent Bronx. The former couple says it is their top priority to help each other raise him.
