Katie Holmes & Tom Cruise

The world knew about Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise being a couple for the first time back in April 2005 when they made their first official public appearance in Rome. Tom was the recipient of the David di Donatello Award for Lifetime Achievement, and Katie was his date to the event. It wasn’t long before Tom was declaring his love for her during an interview with Oprah. Katie then even converted to Scientology, Tom’s religion, in 2005. In the same year, the two got engaged. Tom placed some investment money on his proposal as her got Katie a stunning teardrop ring and took her to the Eiffel Tower!

Their daughter, Suri, was born on April 18, 2006 and soon became a favorite of the media. They got married in November of the same year in Italy and their wedding was a big, lavish one. In 2012, though, the couple decided to part ways. Suri lives with Katie up until today and her dad has visitation rights.
