Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon

Dubbed as the Songbird Supreme, Mariah Carey instantly captivated our hearts with her music after releasing her eponymous debut album in 1990. While shooting the music video for her hit song Bye Bye, the singer met comedian and actor Nick Cannon. They instantly fell in love and tied the knot on April 30, 2008. Three years later, they welcomed their twins, Moroccan and Monroe.

Monroe’s name is inspired by actress Marilyn Monroe, while Moroccan, inspired after the Moroccan-decor room where Cannon proposed to the singer. It appears that Monroe wants to follow in her mom’s footsteps, as evidenced by her TikTok video wherein she captured singing her mom’s songs. As for Moroccan, or Roc, we are yet to figure out if he wants to earn a degree in music or enter the comedy scene just like his dad.
